Haifeng Wang is a Sr. transducer development engineer with Philips Ultrasound. He earned a B.S. degree in Physics from Nanjing University, China, and a Ph.D. degree in Materials from the Pennsylvania State University, USA. He was a post-doc researcher in the Pennsylvania State University between 2002 and 2003. In 2004, he joined the Siemens Medical Solutions USA as a transducer acoustic engineer. Since 2006, he has been with the Philips Ultrasound Inc, Transducer R&D Department. His work is focused on transducer acoustic design, FEM simulation and characterization on transducer and transducer materials.
