Junho Song (Ph.D, Iowa State University) is a Sr. Acoustic/Transducer development engineer at Philip Healthcare, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.   From 2006 to 2007, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, where he focused on developing MR-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) systems for drug delivery and brain cancer treatment.  In 2008, he joined Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada, as a research associate and continued this work, advancing therapeutic ultrasound technologies.  Since joining Philips in 2012, Dr. Song has led innovations in next-generation transducer design and materials, advancing medical ultrasound transducer technology. He holds over 11 issued patents and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications.
