IEEE IUS 2026

The 2026 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium, the 63rd edition of this premier conference, will take place on October 4–8, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. Known as the “City of Oaks,” Raleigh combines historic Southern charm with a thriving spirit of innovation. At the heart of North Carolina’s renowned Research Triangle, the city sits at the center of one of the world’s most active clusters of ultrasound research and development, supported by leading universities, research hospitals, and technology companies that are advancing breakthroughs in healthcare and engineering.

Visitors can enjoy a vibrant culinary and music scene, as well as convenient access to both the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Atlantic coast. The conference will be hosted at the Raleigh Convention Center, located in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of restaurants, breweries, live music venues, green spaces, and cultural attractions, offering participants an engaging and accessible setting. Just 20 minutes from Raleigh–Durham International Airport, the venue provides seamless access to both business and leisure opportunities.

The symposium will emphasize the value of in-person engagement while also providing a virtual attendance option to ensure global participation.
