Timeline & Deadlines

Pre-Recorded Video Requirement

All authors are required to submit pre-recorded videos of oral and poster presentations to the CONFlux virtual platform by September 21, 2026.  Failure to comply with this requirement may impact the author’s participation in future IUS symposia.

Lecture Presentations

Lecture presentations will be a total of 15 minutes long (12 minutes for presentation + 3 minutes for Q&A). For invited talks, the presentations will be 30 minutes (25 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A). Authors should submit their PDF or PPT presentation to an upload link that will be provided two weeks before the conference.  If an update needs to be made, authors can visit the speaker ready room and provide the updated presentation on a flash drive/USB drive. This should be done 24 hours before their session.

Please note that movies/videos embedded in the presentations are not guaranteed to play. In addition, avoid using fonts that are not present in the Windows operating system.

Speakers should arrive in their session room no later than 15 minutes BEFORE the start of their session to report to the Session Chair.

The projectors are designed for 16:9 presentations, so the authors are encouraged to prepare their presentations with that aspect ratio. There is not a required template.

VIRTUAL: If you select to attend virtually (during the video submission process), we will play your pre-recorded video during the live lecture session. There will be no live Q&A after virtual presentations, but discussion will be supported via the chat functionality of the virtual platform. Note that authors are required to respond to questions and comments in the CONFlux chat.

Lecture Presentations Templates Available

There is no required slide design, but authors can use a PowerPoint template created for IEEE IUS 2026.

The official conference poster template is A0 landscape.

Authors may enlarge the official A0 template, provided that the final poster does not exceed the maximum board dimensions of 2.44 m × 1.22 m.

A0 landscape is the required minimum poster size.

There is no required design, but authors can use a poster template created for IEEE IUS 2026.

Note: All poster presenters are required to upload a PDF version of their poster when submitting their presentation video for virtual viewers.
