Dr. Lisa Hobson-Webb, MD, is a professor of neurology, vice chair of clinical operations, and medical director of the Neurosciences Research Organization at Duke University. She currently serves as President of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is a founder and Past President of the International Society of Neuromuscular Imaging. Her research focuses on advancing neuromuscular imaging, particularly US, for diagnosing and monitoring progression of nerve and muscle disorders. This work includes collaboration with Duke Biomedical Engineering on 3-D shear wave elastography for NM disorders. She is also involved in clinical trials for various conditions like muscular dystrophy and myasthenia gravis.
